Okay, I missed my last post time. Here's the real post.
The XX Olympic Games!
Exciting title, eh. This week has been the winter Olympics. This year has been a major disappointment for the US. A silver in bobsledding, some medals in speedskating and figure skating, and some alpine. The major thing for me has been Bode Miller. He last year said "I sometimes just go out there wasted." He's implying he skied drunk. Now he's got a website (www.joinbode.com) with all sorts of commercials on TV. The best thing about the commercials is you can mute him. Other that Bode, the Olympics are something fun that I can stay up a little later to watch. Still, the US could be doing better.

I enjoy the Olympics too. But I don't worry as much about the Americans. I think they do okay. Its more interesting to hear the story of the one lone skater from Turkey for example. I felt bad because she could not even afford to have her Mom or Dad come to the Games to see her compete. But she did a great job even if she won't ever get a medal.
