Yesterday's science class (dissecting squid)
Yesterday in science class, we got to dissect squid. They were dead, but still, I don't like animal swimmy things with long tentacles. One person for each table got to do the actual dissection (luckily for me it was the person across the table from me). The kid who was dissecting was being really mean to the squid. I know it was dead, but he was poking out it's eyes, and playing (?) poke the squid after we finished. It was interesting. Then today we got back our project grades for our endangered species project paper. The paper was considered two test grades so the grade would be put in twice. The diorama grade was one test grade. On the diorama, I got a 95, which was one of the lowest grades, but wasn't bad. The paper she said wasn't perfect, but I got a 105% anyway because she said it had everything she was looking for, and didn't have any grammatical errors that she could see. So all together on the project, out of 310%, I got a 305%. Not bad, eh.
