Late

Okay, I missed my last post time. Here's the real post.

The XX Olympic Games!

Exciting title, eh. This week has been the winter Olympics. This year has been a major disappointment for the US. A silver in bobsledding, some medals in speedskating and figure skating, and some alpine. The major thing for me has been Bode Miller. He last year said "I sometimes just go out there wasted." He's implying he skied drunk. Now he's got a website (www.joinbode.com) with all sorts of commercials on TV. The best thing about the commercials is you can mute him. Other that Bode, the Olympics are something fun that I can stay up a little later to watch. Still, the US could be doing better.

Birthday

As most know, January 29 was my birthday. My 13th, for that fact. It was a Sunday that started with going to mass at 7:30. Breakfast was eggs. The day passed almost like a normal Sunday, except for the fact that we had cake at around 7. It was a cinnamon-banana-something that I can't remember now cake. With a caramel frosting that was very hard. We watched March of the Penguins before cake, with us only being interrupted by Michael and Mrs. Facci, who came by to sing Happy Birthday and drop off some homemade brownies and a card from Michael that I was told he didn't let anyone see it beside himself. I was later told that when they had made brownies, he didn't even ask for one from the pan. That was fun. Then I got to open presents after cake. I got a shirt, and a hoodie sweatshirt that was black and has the words "Trouble" written on the front. I also got a wallet, and a monopoly Yankees edition. All in all, it was a fun day.

Next post: hopefully Friday or Saturday. Birthday party! and/or Super Bowl!

Falling behind

I'm falling behind in posting. Soon to come: Birthday, party, Micheal, and lots of homework. Stay tuned!
