Launcelot and Arthur

Just a little bit of poetry for your entertainment (and my school). Enjoy!

King Arthur, Sir Launcelot,

Together in England, castle to castle, best buddies.

See one get married, see the other love his wife in secret,

See one get a nice magic sword,

See the other go on quests and get himself a maiden,

The maiden loves him, he does not return the favor,

See the maiden work magic on him, and get the other ones wife to curse him,

See him go all over the countryside, soft in the head,

See the other one look all over to find him.

Arthur and Launcelot, best buds,

see the one find the other.

See the other return the favor and betray him.

Arthur and Launcelot, enemies over a wife and some lives,

See one get betrayed by his son,

See him kill the son, and himself get killed by his son.

See the other mourn for him,

Then see him end his life in a monastery,

Arthur and Launcelot, now best buds in Heaven.

Baseball: The drama continues

Last night, 9th inning, two outs, two strikes, one strike away from going to the world series. The Astros blew it. The guy singled, the next guy walked, and (fill in your best sigh here) as what always happens in these spots, Albert Pujols hit a 3-run, game winning home run. The series is now 3-2 Astros. Tonight, travel night. Tomorrow is the biggest game of the season for both teams. Mark Mulder is on the mound for the Cardinals, Roy Oswalt is on the mound for the Astros. Astros win, world series. The Cardinals win, game 7. GO ASTROS!!

Baseball: The fall classic

Now, as some people know, I'm a huge fan of baseball. I can't play it to save my life, but I love to watch it. My favorite team is the Yankees. So this year has been a major disappointment. So in the postseason, once the Yankees got eliminated, I go for the underdog. This year, it's the Astros. Considering they are up 3-1, I am sortof happy. It would be better if the Yankees were there, but any team I like is fine. As long as it is not Boston. The way I always keep up (besides radio and TV) in MLB.com. If there is any game, I am there. GO ASTROS!!
